Here's the Bloody Poster Quentin Tarantino's 'Hateful Eight'

Just a few days after confirming at Comic-Con his next film will indeed be the western “The Hateful Eight,” Quentin Tarantino has debuted the poster for his eighth movie. The poster is set to officially premiere in the upcoming issue of the British movie magazine Empire, but here’s an early look courtesy of Vulture.

The striking promo art promises a violent affair (shocker…). More interesting is the reveal that the film is going to be presented in 70-millimeter Super Cinemascope, like Paul Thomas Anderson’s “The Master” was in select theaters nationwide upon its release. Tarantino made his thoughts known on digital projection at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, where “Pulp Fiction” screened in 35mm. “As far as I’m concerned, digital projection is the death of cinema,” he said. For more on his views go here for the full report.

The film is set to begin shooting early next year, so as of yet no release date has been announced.
