At this year’s Tribeca Film Festival, Apple and Indiewire have teamed up to conduct a series of Tribeca Talks at the Apple Store in Soho, Manhattan. The “Tenured” talk featured writer-director Chris Modoono, writer-star Gil Zabarsky and star Kate Flannery and was moderated by Indiewire’s Casey Cipriani.
In the film, Zabarsky plays Ethan Collins, a fifth grade teacher on a downward spiral after his wife leaves him. In a last ditch attempt to save his marriage, Collins stages an autobiographical play about his marriage casting his own students in the wildly inappropriate roles.
In the clip above, Zabarsky shares an embarrassing story from his own elementary school days about the love his life, Ms. Maynard. Once you’re done there, check out the full length Apple podcast in either audio or video format.
