Watch: Richard Gere Makes a Move for the Only Vacancy in ‘The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ Trailer
One would assume from the title “The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” that perhaps some newer exotic marigold hotel opens thus making our beloved best exotic marigold hotel obsolete, but that appears to not be the case.
What this sequel to 2012’s “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” shows us is more of the same interactions between older folk spending some of their final days in India, but at least it maintains the charming and witty nature of the original. Maggie Smith, Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Celie Imrie, Ronald Pickup and Dev Patel all reprise their roles with newly appointed silver fox Richard Gere making a play for the hotel’s one vacancy.
“The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” doesn’t hit theaters until March, 2015, but you can check out the poster and new trailer below:
