Netflix’s ‘Bloodline’ Returning for a Third Season in 2017, Proving Once Again That the Past Always Comes Back to Us
All our secrets eventually come back to us, and so too will “Bloodline.” Netflix announced today that the family drama created by Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler is set to return for a third season next year. Over its first two seasons, the well-received show has been nominated for a number of Emmy, Golden Globe and WGA awards.

In a statement, Netflix Vice President of Original Content Cindy Holland said that “Todd, Daniel, and Glenn have created a riveting family saga featuring one of the most talented ensembles in the history of television. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for the all-too-human Rayburns.” Said family has a shared, once-buried secret that resurfaces and disrupts their lives in the Florida Keys.

Kyle Chandler, Sissy Spacek, Ben Mendelsohn, Linda Cardellini and Andrea Riseborough star in “Bloodline,” which first premiered in March of last year. 23 episodes have aired so far, with the next batch expected sometime in 2017.
