“Babylon,” the new drama series from SundanceTV, is about to air its fourth episode of a short, six-part first season. So far, the London depicted from a police perspective is a chaotic mess, with the public clashing mightily against its oppressive guardians. 

Brit Marling’s Liz is doing her best to stem the tidal wave rising against the police department, but there’s only so much a new-age, system-bucking PR chief can do. She needs support, which is exactly what she was getting from Commissioner Miller (Nesbitt) — but now he’s gone. Where?
