Hopefully Tatiana Maslany has some more accents in her back pocket — BBC America just announced that “Orphan Black,” its breakout sci-fi drama, has been renewed for a third season.
Starring Maslany as the many young women caught in the web of a biotech conspiracy, “Orphan Black” has been a massive success for the network. According to general manager Perry Simon at today’s TCA presentation, “Orphan” is “the first ever ad-supported drama to double its ratings from Season 1 to Season 2.”
The second season recently concluded its run. Season 3 will air in 2015.
