We now live in an age of one “Star Wars” movies a year, with next month’s standalone “Rogue One” sandwiched between “The Force Awakens” and the as-yet untitled “Episode VIII.” Felicity Jones stars in this next film, which tells of the Rebel Alliance’s mission to steal the plans for the Death Star. Watch the new TV spot below.

“The Empire’s building a terrible weapon,” Jones says as the 30-second ad opens. “I need your help — we can stop them.” And so she and her scrappy underdog friends go about fighting evil for the good of the galaxy, as they’re wont to do.

Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker are all onboard the ensemble cast alongside Jones in the film, which “Godzilla” helmer Gareth Edwards directed. “Rogue One” hits theaters on December 16.
