Watch: Zoe Saldana Wants Know Who Chose Her be the Mother of 'Rosemary's Baby' First Full Trailer

While there are a lot of terrifying moments in the new trailer for NBC‘s upcoming miniseries adaptation of “Rosemary’s Baby,” perhaps the most unnerving is still Zoe Saldana‘s pixie cut. I jest (slightly), but the new minute-long spot for the two-part special event airing during sweeps week does give us a good look at the “Star Trek” and “Avatar” star’s homage to Mia Farrow’s do in the film version.

That being said, NBC has stated their four-hour miniseries is based on Ira Levin’s best-selling novella and not Roman Polanski’s 1968 film. The end of the scream-filled trailer below finds Jason Isaacs (who can dial up the creepy vibes like no other) telling Saldana she was chosen to be the baby’s mother. She counters with, “By who?” and Isaacs gives a telling head tilt both chilling and amusing.

Part one of “Rosemary’s Baby” airs May 11th with the conclusion on May 15th. Watch the trailer below.
