Watch: Tom Hollander Spirals into Alcoholism Dylan Thomas ' Poet New York'

Welsh poet Dylan Thomas was known for his masterful use of imagery and the English language, but as it would seem with the fate of many in the creative class, he also had his inner demons and struggled with drinking problems. His story is now being brought to life by Tom Hollander who stars in “A Poet in New York” as Thomas. The screenplay was written by Andrew Davies (“Bridget Jones’s Diary,” “House of Cards”).

“A Poet in New York” will premiere October 29 on BBC America to mark the 100th anniversary of the late poet’s birth.
