Today is a special day for all those Broken Lizard fans who have been waiting for a “Super Troopers” sequel for the last 16 years. The comedy group has released the first trailer for “Super Troopers 2,” and it’s centered around a testicle-shaving joke that should be more or less comfort food for fans of the stoner classic.

The sequel is once again directed by Jay Chandrasekhar, who is also returning in front of the camera as Vermont State Police trooper Arcot “Thorny” Ramathorn. Broken Lizard members Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske are all returning as well.

“Super Troopers 2” will be released by Fox Searchlight Pictures on April 20, 2018. Watch the first footage below, which fortunately doesn’t give anything away about the plot and the many jokes to come.
