Terry Crews won’t be getting his day in court, but he shows no signs of ending his social-media blitz against the man he claims groped him. The “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star, whose case against WME agent Adam Venit was thrown out due to the statute of limitations expiring, took to Twitter to point out a link between the high-powered agent and the LAPD.

“Adam Venit has been the Event Chairman of the LAPD Foundation, which raises millions for the @LAPD. (See letter below),” Crews tweeted. “Anyone wonder why my assault case against him was thrown out by the D.A.? Yeah, #MeToo.”

The attached letter, written by Venit and his wife Trina, notes that the two are “Event Chairs of the LAPF True Blue Gala” and thus “deeply committed to the organization and to our men and women in blue.” Crews, who plays a cop himself on the beloved “Nine-Nine,” will be exploring the #MeToo movement in an upcoming episode of his sitcom.

Crews is no longer with WME, and sued the agency in December.
