The trailer provides a glimpse into the choppy waters Rob and Sharon must navigate as they develop their unconventional relationship, along with all of the cultural hilarities that come with being an American in the UK.
“We look forward to bringing this honest and smart series to our customers,” said Amazon Studio’s Vice President Roy Price. “Sharon’s irreverent humor plays into Rob’s fish-out-of-water experience and, together, their chemistry makes for a universally witty comedy.”
“We are delighted “Catastrophe” will be available on Amazon Prime and joining their impressive line-up of critically acclaimed TV shows,” added Avalon Television’s Joint Managing Director Jon Thoday.
Amazon will premiere all six episodes on June 19 to Amazon Prime members in the US, and will come to Amazon Prime members in the UK later this year.
