In the last moments of the above trailer, Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) are shown moving in formation through a creepy room lit only by candles. The brief glimpse arrives after a montage of popular shots from the original series, creating a nearly-seamless transition from old to new. Yet Scully’s haircut, Mulder’s suit and the setting provide proof of what we’re really seeing: The first footage from the upcoming ‘X-Files’ event series.
