Kanye West just took the stage at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, where he had free rein to do as he pleased. The rapper, who was nominated for his controversial “Famous” video, gave the live audience a huge surprise when he premiered the music video for his track “Fade” from his latest album “The Life of Pablo.”

The clip features the talented Teyana Taylor dancing in a gym, in what reminded us of the famous scene from the 1983 film “Flashdance.” The NSFW video also includes a steamy interaction with her husband, NBA player Iman Shumpert, then transitions into a scene in which a naked Taylor is surrounded by lambs and her face has transformed into the head of a cat.  Check out the video below.

Yeezy began the night by introducing himself, saying, “I am Kanye West. ‘Famous’ might lose to Beyoncé. I can’t be mad because I’m always wishing for Beyoncé to win.”

“I came here to present my new video, but before I do that, Imma talk,” the “Heartless” rapper added. Touching on his realist art-inspired, nude celebrity short film “Famous,” he stated, “It was an expression of our now, our fame, right now. Us on the inside of TV. The audacity of putting Anna Wintour next to Donald Trump. I mean, I put Ray J in that, bro.”

While the audience cheered for West, he also couldn’t help but mention Taylor Swift and compare himself to Walt Disney, Steve Jobs and many other entrepreneurs. If you didn’t get a chance to watch his speech, you can do so in the video below.
