Elevator Pitch: “The Pamoja Project” is a short documentary film following three Tanzanian women community leaders who have overcome oppressive constructs and emerged as leaders in their community. Not only are these women changing the lives of those in their community but they also have a lot to teach us about real and practical solutions to global poverty. “The Pamoja Project” focuses on solutions, that listens more than it tells, and affirms that our actions can and do have a global impact.

About the Film: This film is part of something larger, not only will we change the narrative of Africa from problems to solutions, but we are harnessing the power of storytelling for good. 100% of the proceeds from this film will go back to supporting these women and every team member is volunteering. While poverty is widespread in Tanzania, there are local heroes doing incredible work. It’s time to hear what they have to say. We live in a world more connected then ever and yet Africa still remains a distant “other.” It’s time to break down those boundaries and uplift each other.
