Samuel Goldwyn Films has acquired worldwide distribution rights (excluding Canada) for sci-fi comedy “No Men Beyond This Point.” Screened in the Vanguard section at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival, the film, directed by Mike Sawers, places viewers in a world where men are a species rapidly going extinct.

In a world where women have found out how to reproduce without the need for men, giving birth almost exclusively to girls, the youngest living male is 37-year-old Andrew Myers. Andrew works as a housekeeper for a family of women, but he finds himself getting rapidly caught up in a battle to keep the male sex from going completely extinct.

“No Men Beyond This Point” was written and directed by Sawers and stars Patrick Gilmore, Kristine Cofsky, Tara Pratt and Rekha Sharma. The film is slated for a 2016 release date.
