In this new trailer for the upcoming series “American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson,” the streets are eerily quiet when a dog barks for help in his owner’s driveway. This is the beginning of what will become the murder trial of O.J. Simpson, on which the first season of FX‘s new anthology series is focused.

Created by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski, “American Crime Story” is an American true crime anthology. It serves as a spin-off and companion series of sorts for “American Horror Story,” which was created by the same producers. The series will premiere on FX in February 2016.
