Created by comic David Steinberg and executive produced by Steve Carell, “Inside Comedy” began as a documentary that outgrew the bounds of a feature running time and became instead of a half-hour Showtime series that’s now on its third season of Steinberg interviewing comedians and other funny people about their process, careers and influences. Showtime’s put the third season premiere online — it features Jimmy Fallon and Zach Galifianakis, with Jonah Hill, Alan Arkin, Bette Midler, Richard Belzer, Andrew Dice Clay and Kevin Nealon slated to appear later in the season.
