Keep up with the always-hopping film festival world with our weekly Film Festival Roundup column.

– The Nantucket Film Festival announced its audience award winners over the weekend, including “Other People,” “Captain Fantastic,” “Life, Animated” and “Ticked.” Check out the full list of winners at the festival’s official site.

– The American Film Institute has also announced their audience award winners for AFI DOCS 2016. This year’s Audience Award for Best Feature went to “Maya Angelou: And Still I Rise,” directed by Rita Coburn Whack and Bob Hercules. This year’s Audience Award for Best Short went to “Snails,” directed by Grzegorz Szczepaniak. With 93 films from 30 countries, the festival brought together filmmakers, industry, national policy and opinion leaders. Find out more information at the festival’s official website.

– PBS has announced that the PBS Online Film Festival will return for a fifth year on July 11-29 and will feature 25 short-form independent films from a broad spectrum of public media stations and partners. Beginning July 11, the festival will be available via PBS and station digital platforms, including PBS.org, YouTube and PBS social media channels. The films will also be available via the PBS app on iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku and FireTV devices. Check out the full lineup here.

– The inaugural Indie Street Film Festival has announced details for its very first offering. Films of note include “Chosen,” “Morris From America” and “Little Men.” Passes and tickets are on sale now, and can be purchased at the festival’s official website.

– The submission deadline for the Fingal Film Festival in Dublin, Ireland is fast approaching. The cut off  for submissions is this Thursday, June 30. Submissions are open in 9 categories including, Feature, Short, Animation, Student and International. You can submit your film right here.

– The Zanzibar International Film Festival has announced that top Bollywood producer Kunal Kapoor will serve as one of its Chief Quests in 2016. Kapoor will be attending ZIFF based on the support of The Zanzibar Tourism Promotion Centre (Z.T.P.C), India that was set up in March 2015 under the Presidential initiative and vision between the Ministry of Information, Culture, Tourism & Sports – Government of Zanzibar, The Zanzibar Commission for Tourism & JHIL Enterprises, Mumbai, India.
