Watch: New Form Digital Series ‘I Ship It’ Debuts Exclusive Video

Once a significant other becomes an ex, all kinds of mayhem erupts. Such an adventure is what New Form Digital’s new series “I Ship It” — created, written and produced by YouTuber Yulin Kuang — will explore when it premieres tomorrow on CW Seed.

The official synopsis reads: “After a devastating breakup, Ella Spencer enlists her roommate/best friend Tim to help her seek revenge on her ex. The two of them, along with a couple of coerced interns, form a band with hopes of taking down her ex-boyfriend in the Battle of the Bands nerd-rock contest. However, as budding romances among bandmates begin to escalate, Ella is forced to choose between her new-found musical success and her next relationship.”

Watch an IndieWire exclusive clip from the show below. The clip shows Ella as she interviews a musician from the Battle of the Bands nerd-rock competition and comes to realize that she herself wants to get back into music and be a “creator.” As she walks up to the sign up sheet, she sees her ex-boyfriend’s name at the top and, in a revenge-seeking spur of the moment decision, writes down her name and calls a friend to say what many of us have said: “Let’s start a band.”

Episodes 1 through 4 of “I Ship It” will premiere tomorrow, June 23, on CW Seed.
