In March, Cinedigm launched Docurama, a free, ad-supported, on-demand streaming channel featuring documentary content, and today the company released the Docurama app for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.

“The launch of the Docurama app enables even more fans access to our extensive library of inspiring, entertaining documentary features,” said Susan Margolin, President of Docurama, in a statement. Margolin added that the new interface is “incredibly intuitive and easy to navigate” and she hopes that it will become a resource for the documentary community.

“We want to hear from members of the documentary community, to engage in a meaningful dialogue with contributors, fans and future collaborators striving to explore the edges of documentary programming,” said Margolin.

The direct-to-consumer digital streaming network is already available on over 165 million devices including Xbox, Roku, Amazon Fire, Samsung, Opera and connected TVs. Check out the app here.
