'Birdman' and 'Grand Budapest Hotel' Lead 2015 Oscar Nominations
Alejandro González Iñárritu’s “Birdman” and Wes Anderson’s “The Grand Budapest Hotel” led the nominations for the 87th annual Academy Awards this morning. Both films scored nine nominations each, including best picture and best director. Morten Tydlum’s “The Imitation Game” followed with eight nods, while Clint Eastwood’s “American Sniper” and Richard Linklater’s “Boyhood” landed six each.
