Michael Moore says that Donald Trump’s recent victory will lead to a massive resistance from people all across the nation. The filmmaker, who appeared on Friday’s MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” sat down with the show’s host and contributors to speak about what went wrong, what’s next for the country, and how to move forward.

Moore began talking about how Trump supporters came out strong to the polls and how Bernie Sanders, when he was campaigning, won in some states that Hillary Clinton lost.

“The reason Bernie [Sanders] won and Trump won Michigan, as you’ve been talking about in this election, people wanted change,” Moore stated. “That’s the reason why Bernie won 22 states. How else can you explain that a socialist [won]? This is not a socialist country. How did a socialist win 22 states?”

Continuing with the discussion, the “Michael Moore in TrumpLand” helmer also commented on President Barack Obama’s reaction to meeting Trump and how he doesn’t think that the president-elect will last four years.

“Here’s what’s going to happen, this is why we’re not going to have to suffer through four years of Donald J. Trump, because he has no ideology except the ideology of Donald J. Trump,” Moore stated. “And when you have a narcissist like that, who’s so narcissistic where it’s all about him, he will, maybe unintentionally, break laws. He will break laws because he’s only thinking about what’s best for him.”

Calling Trump “ill,” Moore added, “He is racist. He is a misogynist. He is an authoritarian.”

Moore, who this week also joined a group of activists protesting Trump on the streets of Manhattan, stated during his discussion with MSNBC, “We are going to resist, we are going to oppose. This is going to continue, tonight and the next night and the next night.”

“This is going to be a massive resistance,” Moore expressed. “Women are calling for a million woman march on the Inauguration Day, and there is going to be the largest demonstration ever on Inauguration Day.”
