“Almost Holy” is produced by legendary director Terrence Malick, whose previous films include “Days of Heaven,” “The Thin Red Line,” “The Tree of Life,” and most recently “Knight of Cups.” Director Steve Hoover’s last film was “Blood Brother,” a documentary about a young man who works in an AIDS center in a remote Indian village caring for the infected children. “Almost Holy’s” score was composed by Atticus Ross, who most famously collaborated with Trent Reznor on the scores for David Fincher’s “The Social Network,” “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” and “Gone Girl.”

“Almost Holy” premiered at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival. It’s currently in theaters in New York and Los Angeles and will expand nationwide in the following weeks.
