Long-Awaited 'Serena' with Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper Selected BFI London Film Festival

This morning, it was announced that the London Film Festival will screen the long-awaited “Serena,” starring Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper. The film was shot in 2012 and has drawn buzz for its A-list pairing, leading many to suspect it would be screened at Venice or Cannes. But “Serena” is getting a quieter premiere, screening out of competition as a part of the London Film Festival’s eclectic “Strands/Pathways” program. The film was directed by Susanne Bier of “Brothers” and “After the Wedding.”

“The Imitation Game,” Morten Tyldum
Starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley. Director Morten Tyldum returns to the Festival with a film about Alan Turing, one of the world’s greatest innovators and pioneer of modern-day computing, who is credited with cracking the German Enigma code.
