First Look: James Franco Time-Travels Save JFK New Photos From '11.22.63'

Who better to play a time-traveler than bonafide space alien James Franco? “11.22.63” stars Franco as an English teacher who goes back in time to try to prevent John F. Kennedy’s assassination, but his mission hits some considerable roadblocks.

Hulu’s nine-hour limited event series is based on Stephen King‘s 2011 novel of the same name. In the show, Franco’s rescue attempt gets pushback from his burgeoning love life, Lee Harvey Oswald (go figure), and even the universe, which prefers the past as is (or was, or whatever). Photos from “11.22.63” show Franco adjusting to his new ’60s environs, as well as to the matching duds.

Joining Franco in the cast are Chris Cooper, Josh Duhamel, T.R. Knight, Cherry Jones, and Sarah Gadon. King himself, as well as  J.J. Abrams and Kevin MacDonald, are among the thriller’s creative team.

Hulu is premiering “11.22.63,” fittingly, on Presidents’ Day: February 15, 2016. Check out photos from the series below.
