Watch: How Get Kevin Bacon Read Your Script (Exclusive Video)

Everyone loves Kevin Bacon. At the very least, everyone loves at least one film or TV show the extremely prolific actor has appeared in over the past few decades. Having just finished a three-season run on FOX’s “The Following,” Bacon’s next big film appearances include “Cop Car” (which premiered at Sundance in January) and the Ridley Scott’s “Black Mass” alongside Johnny Depp (which is set for a September release). And who can forget the “Wake up to Eggs with Bacon” commercials, arguably his greatest role to date?

In an interview with Sam Jones, though, Bacon plays the role of himself — 98 percent of the time. He discusses everything from the moment he realized his true calling as an actor to the strange interaction he had with a fan on the beach (complete with an impression) that resulted in finding an incredible script. Though unnamed, the Oscar-caliber screenplay turned out to be “The Woodsman,” a 2004 Sundance and Cannes selection that earned Bacon some awards attention and plenty of rave reviews.

Check out the exclusive clips right here at Indiewire, and catch Bacon’s full episode of “Off-Camera with Sam Jones” on Wednesday at 10pm on DirecTV‘s Audience Network.
