After premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival last September, the documentary “The Music of Strangers: Yo Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble” is now heading to Berlin and bringing with it its explosion of creativity and musical ingenuity.

Morgan Neville, director of the Oscar-winning documentary “20 Feet From Stardom,” “The Music of Strangers” tells the
story of the renowned international musical collective
created by legendary cellist Yo-Yo Ma. Throughout the film, the viewer follows this group of diverse instrumentalists, vocalists, composers,
arrangers, visual artists and storytellers as they explore the power of
music to preserve tradition, shape cultural evolution and inspire hope.
The film will premiere on February 15 at the Berlin International Film Festival. The Orchard will release the doc in U.S. theaters in late spring. Check out the exclusive poster below.
