Marling stars as Prairie Johnson, who returns home seven years after going missing with a new change: her sight has been restored. She’s never actually seen her parents before, and adjusting to that aspect of her life looks to be just one narrative thread here — figuring out how and why any of this happened will surely factor prominently into the plot as well. The vibe of the trailer is very much in keeping with Marling and Batmanglij’s previous collaborations, especially “Sound of My Voice.”
