Watch: Chris Lowell's 'Beside Still Waters' Trailer Revisits Your Teenage Summer

Missing that sweet summer nostalgia of drinking with your friends at the lake house? Look no further. First-time director Chris Lowell (who is more familiar to the world as Piz from “Veronica Mars”) will bring you back with the trailer for his latest film,”Beside Still Waters.”

Meet Daniel (Ryan Eggold) and company; a group of early thirty-somethings who return to the lake house in which they spent many teenaged summers. Mourning the recent death of his parents, Daniel hopes to rekindle that adolescent passion and enchantment of summer bonding–something that is not as easy as he thinks, especially when his ex-girlfriend shows up with a new fiancée.

Winner of the Audience Award and Jury Prize at the 2013 Austin Film Festival, “Beside Still Waters” pays tribute to the summer of first kisses, alcoholic beverages and skinny dipping dares with an affectionate and realistic farewell embrace. The film opens November 14 in theaters and November 18 On Demand. Check out the trailer below:
