Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them
"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them"
Warner Bros.

Director David Yates made his Hall H debut at Comic-Con to unleash the latest trailer for the highly-anticipated “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.” Joined by Eddie Redmayne, who passed out wands to the audience, the Oscar-winner led the room in a Luminous Maxima spell before they revealed the sneak peek of the “Harry Potter” spinoff.

The newest preview of the J.K. Rowling–written adventure sees Redmayne as the magizoologist Newt Scamander, who travels to New York in 1926 for a meeting with the Magical Congress of the United States of America with a magical briefcase containing a host of dangerous creatures. After the beasts accidentally escape, it’s up to Scamander to try to get them back before the wizarding authorities catch him and Wizard/No-Maj relations become any more strained as a result of a potential catastrophe. Newt soon teams up with a couple of witches and a no-maj who will help him track down the missing beasts. But things get complicated when more non-magical humans try and track his creatures before he does.

Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler and Colin Farrell also co-star in the journey back to the wizarding world.
