Amber Ruffin Remakes ‘Annie Hall’ and ‘House of Cards’ Without Woody Allen and Kevin Spacey — Watch

Are you tried of separating the art from the artist? Now you don't have to thanks to "Late Night With Seth Meyers."
Seth Meyers and Amber Ruffin Remake 'Annie Hall' Without Woody Allen

Amber Ruffin, one of the shining stars of “Late Night With Seth Meyers,” took on Hollywood’s sexual abusers in an August 14 segment in which she remade works of art featuring problematic men, including Woody Allen, Kevin Spacey, and Bill Cosby. Ruffin was addressing the age-old question: Should we separate the art from the artist? Thanks to the comedian’s remakes, that question is no longer needed.

The highlight of Ruffin’s segment is her take on Woody Allen. The “Late Night” team recreated one of Allen’s famous scenes from “Annie Hall” and let Ruffin rip into the actor-director’s trademark stutter. Ruffin also took on Spacey and his fourth wall “House of Cards” breaks. In each remake, Ruffin subversively makes the point that maybe these men’s art wasn’t that exceptional to begin with.

Watch Ruffin take on Spacey, Allen, and more in the video below.
