Watch: The New ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Trailer Is Two and a Half Minutes of Action Packed Insanity

A new trailer has arrived for George Miller‘s lang-awaited return to the dystopian franchise “Max Max: Fury Road.” From the looks of the trailer, even though 30 years separate the upcoming film from the last installment, “Mad Max: Fury Road” won’t disappoint. The trailer is absolutely insane, featuring non-stop action from start to finish.

Set in a wasteland where gas and water have become scarce resources, Tom Hardy stars in the iconic role of Max Rockatansky originated by Mel Gibson. Though usually a loner, Mad Max joins up with fugitive imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) and her all-female band as they try to escape a savage warlord. 

“Mad Max: Fury Road” opens nationwide May 15 and premieres at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.
