Watch: Everyone is Fair Game in the Trailer For MTV’s ‘Scream’ TV Series

“You can’t do a slasher movie as a TV series.” MTV thinks otherwise, as they’ve just released the first trailer for their, well, slasher TV series based on the 1996 horror film of the same name. Watch the trailer above.

The “Scream” TV series introduces a new generation of fans to the franchise, and “a new generation” means throwing “Scream” into the digital age. When a cyber-bullying attack leads to a gruesome murder, a new killer is expected to arise and a new, unsuspecting batch of teenagers enter the scene. The series stars Willa Fitzgerald, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Carlson Young, John Karna and Connor Weil.

“Scream” hits the small screen June 30 on MTV.
