Congrats "Graceland," IW's Project of the Week!

Thanks to your votes, the kidnapping drama “Graceland” won this weekend’s Project of the Week contest.

Congratulations to director Ron Morales. The filmmaker will receive a digital distribution consultation from SnagFilms and is now officially a candidate for Project of the Month. That winner will be awarded with a consultation from the Sundance Institute.

Here’s what the project’s about:

Marlon Villar, a family man, is the long-time personal driver of Manuel Changho, a corrupt politician in Metro Manila, Philippines. While driving Mr. Changho’s preteen daughter Sophia, together with his own daughter Elvie, the three become the target of a kidnapping attempt. When the wrong girl is taken, Marlon’s life takes a sudden and violent turn which propels him into a downward spiral of deception. As events unravel, Marlon, Mr. Changho, and their families become entangled in a web of lies and corruption that will leave no one innocent.

Four more Projects of the Day coming this week, with the next vote on Friday. Want your project to be considered? Tell us all about it.
