Vin Diesel is celebrating getting to 100 million fans on Facebook in a huge way, by giving away some major Marvel news.

The action star posted a Facebook Live video on Friday where he thanked his fans for their unconditional support. Telling them that he’s grateful for all the blessings in his life, he also revealed that the Guardians of the Galaxy will appear in the next Avengers movie.

“Now, the Guardians will be included in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and that’s incredibly exciting,” he told his viewers, “You were told before everybody.”

This is something that quite a few people have been speculating for a while, as many of the Marvel Universe films intertwine at some point. While the actor who voices Groot didn’t give any more details regarding how the heroes would mesh together, he did talk about how he became part of the superhero franchise.

“That whole concept started from you all saying, ‘When are you going to be in a Marvel movie?’” he explained.

In the 30-minute video, Diesel also touched on his other upcoming projects such as “xXx: Return of Xander Cage,” a new “Riddick” movie and, of course, “Fast 8.” The actor talked about his co-stars and especially getting the chance to work alongside the talented Helen Mirren, “She is such a wonderful, wonderful talent. It was such a blessing and I will always remember the fact that we worked together.”

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” will hit theaters May 5, 2017 and “Avengers: Infinity War” is scheduled for release on May 4, 2018.
