'Mr. Robot' Season 2 Teaser Explains The Aftermath of the Five/Nine Hack

Season 2 of the USA hit series “Mr. Robot” is just around the corner and a new teaser explaining what happened after the Evil Corp hack has been released via the show’s official Twitter page.

The search for the cyber terrorist Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallström) continues as he is the one suspected of being the leader of the fsociety and masterminding the hack against E Corp’s data centers. He is also wanted for questioning regarding the murder of Sharon Knowles (Michele Hicks), wife of E Corp’s Chief Technology Officer, Scott Knowles (Brian Stokes Mitchell).

Meanwhile, the nation is in an economic spiral, “Public outcry is growing and virtually every major financial institution is struggling to keep up with the consumer demand for paper money,” the reporter says in the newscast.

In the upcoming season, Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek) will have to deal with his own “infinite loop of insanity” after pulling the trigger on the hack and walking up in an SUV three days into the meltdown, with no recollection of the event. The fsociety still plans to change the world but we’ll have to see how it all goes down.

The second season of “Mr. Robot” will premiere on July 13th on USA.
