[Editor’s Note: The following contains mild spoilers about the premise of “The Sinner.”]

“The Sinner” became USA Network’s stealth hit show of the summer, and now listening to its soundtrack can keep those feelings alive, long past the mystery has been revealed.

Listen to the Spotify playlist below for all the songs heard in the gothic mystery. Based on the 1999 German novel of the same name by Petra Hammesfahr, the updated story revolves around Cora Tannetti (Jessica Biel), a woman who commits an act of shocking violence. During an idyllic day out at the beach with her family, Cora suddenly snaps and stabs a complete stranger to death with the fruit knife she was using to slice a pear. No one, not even Cora herself, knows why she did this.

Det. Ambrose (Bill Pullman) starts digging when he realizes that Cora’s reasons why she killed this man may reveal a deeper, darker secret from the past. As the show follows his investigations, it also flashes back to Cora’s twisted upbringing. As the present and the past collide, the ugly, heartbreaking truth will be revealed.

The biggest clue, though, is the song that is playing at the beach that acts as a trigger for her murderous rage. Its driving beat and haunting vocals become more and more insidious each time the show plays it. Surprisingly, it wasn’t a song written for the limited series, but the real-life song “Huggin & Kissin” by one-man-band Big Black Delta. We dare you to listen to that song and not think of poor Cora.

The series also features a wide assortment of other artists too, ranging from Sam Cooke and Jim James to Valerie June and Chris Isaak — because of course “Wicked Game” was made for this show.

Take a listen:

“The Sinner” airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on USA Network.
