At this year’s festival, the SundanceNow Doc Club hosted a series of panels on contemporary documentary filmmaking. Themes ranged from black lives on film to documenting celebrities, and short form documenting. Featured panelists include Lucy Walker, Liz Garbus and Daniel Junge and were be moderated by SundanceNow Doc Club Curator Thom Powers.
For those of you not in Park City this past weekend, Indiewire has exclusive footage from panel on short-form filmmaking. The SundanceNow Doc Club shorts panel derives from the Doc Club’s digital program, “The Best of Sundance Shorts,” curated by Sundance Shorts programmer Mike Plante.
