Watch: There’s a New Trailer for ‘Homeland’ Season 4 But We Still Don’t Know What’s Going On

Last season of “Homeland” left the Showtime drama open for some pretty extreme changes. While this could be a good thing for the show, which had lost some of its steam during the second season, this new trailer leaves us only cautiously optimistic.

The trailer features new mommy and CIA operative Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) as she struggles with a new set of conflicts that arise with her recently appointed position in the Middle East. It also features some familiar faces (Mandy Patinkin and Rupert Friend) and some newbies too, including Corey Stoll (“House of Cards”) and Suraj Sharma (“Life of Pi”). 

Season 4 of “Homeland” will premiere on Showtime on October 5. Until then, check out the trailer below.
