Four days after their cancellation (and the considerable online blowback for the decision), SXSW released a statement apologizing for sending the message that “SXSW not only tolerates online harassment but condones it.” The festival has announced a day-long online harassment summit set to take place at SXSW 2016, including the previously scheduled panels.
The events will take place on March 12. SXSW will provide a livestream for the event.
