While Hurricane Irma races its way through Florida, those seeking refuge at the Meadow Woods Middle School in Orlando had a dash of sunshine Sunday morning when Kristen Bell graced their premises, as reported by Vulture.
Bell was in Florida when Irma hit the coasts, filming a new comedy called “Like Father” starring alongside Kelsey Grammer. Earlier during the weekend, as the storm was getting to Florida, Bell turned to Twitter to look for a rather unusual collection of supplies in the Orlando area: a keyboard, a microphone, and an amp.

This was in an attempt to bring some bliss to the citizens of Florida through songs. “When #HurricaneIrma is at your heels, there’s only one thing to do: get to a shelter, grab a mic and SING,” Bell tweeted Sunday morning.

Thus, the star of “The Good Place” sang a few “Frozen” songs for those at the shelter, one of which was “For the First Time in Forever.” Watch her perform with volunteers below.

She also spent part of her Sunday playing bingo with senior citizens who were being sheltered at her hotel. One of them even seized the opportunity to sing to her:
Bell currently stars on the show “The Good Place,” Season 2 of which premieres September 20 on NBC.
