More than a year has passed since the attack on the French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, where 11 people were killed and 11 others were wounded after two brothers belonging to Al-Qaeda stormed in with assault rifles. Sadly, this tragic event, which took place on January 7, 2015, marked the beginning of a series of terrorist attacks around the world, but at the same time began to unite people, who above all else, wanted peace.

Now, HBO is detailing the chilling moments in the documentary, “Three Days Of Terror: The Charlie Hebdo Attacks,” which features new footage from the unforgettable incidents, interviews with hostages, survivors, police and more. The first trailer chronicles the horrific events and the aftermath of the senseless acts of terror.

“It’s true, terrorists will risk their lives for their beliefs,” says a man in the video. “But many Frenchmen will also risk their lives for what they believe in.”
