2019 Oscars: Best Supporting Actress Predictions

This year, several Oscar favorites are back in juicy supporting roles, including long-overdue Amy Adams as political wife Lynne Cheney (“Vice”) and winners Rachel Weisz and Emma Stone as dueling courtiers in period dramedy “The Favourite,” who may knock each other out.

Regina King pops out of the ensemble in Barry Jenkins’ James Baldwin adaptation “If Beale Street Could Talk” and could walk away with an Oscar on top of her recent Emmy, Critics Choice and Golden Globe awards. Mexican stage actress Marina de Tavira was rewarded with a surprise slot for her role as the divorcing mother in “Roma.”
