Frederator Studios' 'Rocket Dog' Heads Television

Mel Roach’s cartoon short “Rocket Dog,” which was the second short to premiere on the Frederator Studios’ YouTube channel Cartoon Hangover, is being developed into a television series through via a collaboration between Frederator and the Australian animation house Studio Moshi.

Per a report published by VideoInk today, Frederator and Studio Moshi are developing 52 eleven minute episodes. The series will be distributed around the world, with Frederator handling North America and Studio Moshi overseeing all remaining territories.

“Rocket Dog” chronicles the adventures of a young boy and his rocket-powered dog. You can check out the original short below.
