Based on Larry Kramer’s Tony-award winning — and largely autobiographical — play, “The Normal Heart” also stars Taylor Kitsch, Matt Bomer, Jim Parsons, and Julia Roberts. It chronicles activists, doctors, and every day citizens’ fight for awareness regarding the HIV/AIDS virus during the early ’80s in New York City.
