Jimmy Kimmel and Sean Hannity don’t seem to like each other very much. One need look no further than their respective Twitter accounts for proof, with Hannity devoting much of the last 48 hours to criticizing Kimmel for “attacking” Melania Trump and Kimmel responding in kind. Their dispute stems from a bit on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in which Kimmel joked about the First Lady not contributing to the White House’s annual Easter Egg roll while putting on an accent to imitate her voice; Hannity, moral arbiter that he is, didn’t take kindly to that.

After referring to Kimmel as a “despicable disgrace,” Hannity said, “Ass clown Kimmel. Now I’m gonna tell you something. What a disgrace. Hey, uh, Mr. Kimmel, she speaks five languages. How many languages do you speak?”

Then, on Twitter, Hannity began calling Kimmel “Harvey Weinstein Jr.” and bringing up TV segments he’d been involved in. This led to a sort of poll: “So tonight will @jimmykimmel be 1- Asking 18 year old girls to touch his crotch. 2- Make fun of the First Lady reading books to children. 3- Be a racist asshole. 4- all of the above? @Disney #pervertkimmel,” Hannity tweeted.

He was greeted by this response from Kimmel: “I vote for whichever one best helps you trivialize the horrors of Harvey Weinstein by comparing them to televised comedy bits in which every woman was a willing participant who gladly signed a release.”

Hannity, who works for Fox, has yet to mention the sexual-harassment scandals that led to the ouster of his one-time colleague Bill O’Reilly and his former boss Roger Ailes.

The humorous aspect of the feud has proven to be a bit one-sided, given that Kimmel’s background is in comedy and Hannity’s Wikipedia page features a 12-section chapter devoted to the controversies that have arisen from his tendency to make false statements and spread debunked conspiracy theories.

“He’s lost his mind,” Kimmel said of Hannity last night. “This is the guy who defended the multiply alleged pedophile Roy Moore, and I’m the despicable disgrace, I’m the ass clown. If I’m an ass clown — and I very well might be — you, Sean, are the whole ass circus.” Watch his full comments below.
