Jodie Foster has lined up her next directorial gig at Netflix. Ahead of “Black Mirror’s” Season 3 release, the streaming service announced that the director and actress will be helming an episode of the fourth season of the critically acclaimed anthology series.

No additional details about the episode were revealed only that Rosemarie DeWitt will star. Production for Season 4 will begin later this year and premiere sometime in 2017.

Created and written by Charlie Brooker, who serves as executive producer and showrunner alongside Annabel Jones, the sci-fi-themed series had its first two seasons on Britain’s Channel 4 and was later revived by Netflix. The show taps into our collective unease with the modern world and each stand-alone episode is a sharp, suspenseful tale exploring themes of contemporary techno-paranoia.

Foster most recently directed the Julia Roberts and George Clooney-starring thriller “Money Monster.” The actress-turned-director made her directorial debut in 1988, helming an episode of “Tales from the Darkside.” She then went on to direct the feature film “Little Man Tate.” Since then she’s been behind the lens for “Home for the Holidays” and “The Beaver.” She’s previously worked with Netflix, directing episodes of “Orange is the New Black” and “House of Cards.”

DeWitt last starred in an episode of Amazon’s “The Last Tycoon.” She’ll next be seen in Damien Chazelle’s musical “La La Land” with Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, and recently wrapped the Jamie Dagg’s indie-thriller “Sweet Virginia.”

Season 3 of “Black Mirror” premieres globally on Netflix on October 21.
