Actor Jack Plotnik’s feature directorial debut, “Space Station 76” is a science fiction black comedy born from a collision between the future and the past. Made up of an all-star cast including Patrick Wilson, Liv Tyler, Matt Bomer and Jerry O’Connell, the film takes place on a spaceship in a not-so-distant future that suspiciously resembles the 1970s, both aesthetically and morally.
“Space Station 76” was picked up by Sony Pictures Worldwide hot off its premiere at the South-by-Southwest Film Festival earlier this year.
In this exclusive 10-minute clip, which you can watch in its entirety below, the audience is introduced to the peculiar ensemble of characters at the center of the film. Let’s just say Jerry O’Connell really knows how to take 1970s grotesque to the next level.
