SXSW 2016: What We're Excited See, Do and Learn (Podcast)

South by Southwest is many things to many different people: A technology conference. A music festival. A party zone. And for some of us, it’s a place to watch movies. But how has that arena changed in recent years? That’s the starting point for this week’s episode of Screen Talk, in which Eric Kohn and Anne Thompson discuss some of the films in this year’s lineup they’re excited to see, how the industry presence has impacted the festival, and to make of President Obama’s visit. Screen Talk fans attending this year’s SXSW are welcome to attend a live recording of Screen Talk this Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Room 15 in the Austin Convention Center. Make sure to follow all of Indiewire’s SXSW coverage as it unfolds here.
